A piece of advice for the job postings you publish: Be realistic.


At Joppy, we have found that the requirements of a job posting may not reflect the reality of the tech industry. For example:

  • Salaries well below the market average.
  • Programming languages that are not professionally relevant.
  • Too many programming languages required for more junior positions.
  • Unrealistic expectations, like the one in the meme we showed you.

Don't worry, it may not be your fault. If you haven't had supervision from a tech professional or have been given vague requirements, the job posting may not be efficient.
