We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior Data Engineer who is passionate about data pipelines and excited by high-performance engineering challenges.

🎯 The role

You will join a core engineering team responsible for making complex data available to real-time bidding platforms and machine learning models. You will help build robust data pipelines, deliver high-quality features, and solve complex engineering challenges while developing your skills through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data features for machine learning models
• Implement complex data ingestion services and other short-cycle engineering tasks
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code
• Test your work locally and in a staging environment
• Monitor deployments and help maintain the stability, reliability, and performance of production systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical and architectural decisions
• Collaborate with the team in an agile environment, including planning and progress reporting
• Take ownership of the features you build and help operate them in production

🛠️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 1–2 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Python or Java
• Strong interest in big data, machine learning, and data engineering
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

➕ Nice to have

• Knowledge of Scala
• Experience with key-value stores and in-memory databases, such as Redis or Memcached
• Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS
• Experience with Airflow workflows
• Experience working with big data
• Experience with Spark

Join a collaborative core engineering team of eight experienced engineers responsible for maintaining and evolving a real-time bidding (OpenRTB) auction system. The team values knowledge sharing, autonomy, and continuous professional growth while tackling complex engineering challenges.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features for core products using Node.js and Java
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code
• Test work locally and in a sophisticated staging environment
• Monitor deployments and help maintain the stability, reliability, and performance of production systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical and architectural decisions
• Collaborate in an agile environment, including planning and progress reporting
• Take ownership of work across the core platform following a “you build it, you run it” approach

🛠️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 2–4 years of experience in a software engineering role
• Hands-on experience with Java or Node.js
• Solid theoretical knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow professionally
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Proficiency with Linux, Git, Docker, and Docker Compose
• Experience with testing tools and modern CI/CD frameworks
