Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Card)
We're looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Card) who is passionate about building transparent, flexible payment solutions and revolutionizing the credit industry.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems and supporting them throughout delivery.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation, articulation of technical constraints, and decision-making processes that consider risks and trade-offs.
- Proactively identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, technology, or business issues.
- Support the operations and availability of the team’s systems by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and participating in on-call duties.
- Promote a culture of quality and ownership by setting or enhancing code review and design standards, and advocating for them within and beyond the team.
- Mentor and develop team members through feedback and guidance, leading by example.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
🛠️ Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, including designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale with technologies such as Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience shipping front-end applications.
- Proven ability to define technical plans for significant features or components with simple and extensible designs.
- Able to write high-quality, easily understandable, and maintainable code.
- Experience making significant changes in large codebases, with tools and practices to ensure safety and quality.
- Demonstrated ownership of personal and team growth, proactive in seeking feedback from peers, managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global engineering team.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE & Platform Reliability)
We're looking for a skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE & Platform Reliability) to drive platform reliability, build resilient systems, and foster best practices across engineering teams.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals, leading engineers through ambiguity and open-ended challenges
- Collaborate with infrastructure, product management, developer experience, and analytics teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify and implement technical solutions and operational processes to improve incident readiness, response, and post-incident analysis
- Maintain and monitor the operations and availability of team artifacts, escalate issues as needed, and support on-call efforts
- Contribute to and improve code review and design standards, and advocate for quality and ownership across teams
- Support the growth and development of team members by offering guidance, feedback, and leading by example
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
🛠️ Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using languages such as Bash, Python, or Kotlin
- Proven experience building highly available distributed systems with technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- Experience contributing to or leading the Incident Lifecycle process, driving actionable insights for reliability and resilience
- 4+ years working in a Site Reliability or Production Engineering team
- Ability to define technical plans for significant feature or system component delivery using elegant, extensible designs
- Experience making impactful changes in large codebases and implementing effective tools and practices
- Demonstrated ownership of personal growth, proactively seeking feedback
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration on a global engineering team
