We're looking for a Cloud Engineer – Data Platforms to architect, implement, and maintain infrastructure and deployment pipelines for an enterprise search platform on AWS. You will apply your expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and automation to support scalability, reliability, security, and service performance.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Cloud DevOps Enterprise Search team, stakeholders, customers, and external teams.
• Deliver priorities, milestones, and outcomes aligned with product management direction.
• Contribute to technical implementations and decisions within the Cloud DevOps Enterprise Search team.
• Meet service-level agreements (SLAs) for customer deployments in a global environment.
• Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, system health, and infrastructure reliability.
• Identify and implement improvements to the reliability of IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with clients, IT departments, and managed service suppliers to design and deliver cloud IT solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

🛠️ Requirements

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in an information technology environment, including networking, infrastructure, or databases.
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience in one or more multinational environments.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

Technical skills

• Recent experience designing, implementing, or operating infrastructure, or designing hybrid and multicloud solutions on public cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with container and serverless AWS services, including EKS, Lambda, and AWS ECR.
• Cloud networking experience with VPC subnets, security groups, Transit Gateway, and Network Firewall.
• Application networking experience with AWS API Gateway, NLB, and ALB.
• Experience using Grafana for cloud observability.
• Experience with DevOps pipeline automation using GitLab CI/CD and Ansible.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, and Python.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.

➕ Nice to have

• Experience developing AI pipelines.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent practical knowledge of AWS and Azure environments.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with observability tools such as Elasticsearch.
• Experience using modern tools across the Agile software development lifecycle.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub, Git, and Stash/Bitbucket.
• Experience with knowledge management systems such as Confluence and Google Docs.
• Experience with development workflow tools such as Jira.
