Job Description
We're looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join a multidisciplinary team supporting digital and operational excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Utilize SQL and Python to extract, profile, and analyze data for feature development and data cleansing.
- Translate complex business rules into technical analytical specifications for engineering teams.
- Ensure data products meet integrity, security, and validation standards in collaboration with validation teams.
- Conduct deep-dive data exploration and review prospective data sources, identifying quality constraints and hidden value.
- Contribute to conceptual and logical data modeling, partnering with product owners and architects to design data schemas.
- Support data standardization initiatives and maintain data contracts, dictionaries, and metadata for clear data usage guidance.
- Design, build, and maintain data product monitoring dashboards (e.g., in Tableau or PowerBI) to track and report KPIs, adoption, and user satisfaction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for data product operational support, leading incident management and collaborating with data engineers on solutions.
🛠️ Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical technical operations, including project-based work and knowledge of industry regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA) and Quality systems.
- Highly proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL and Python skills for data extraction and transformation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to model complex data sets logically.
- Experience with application support, incident management, and change control.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (such as Jira or HP ALM).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to present data product performance metrics to a range of audiences.

- Familiarity with business-facing systems such as SAP, SAC, ELN, LIMS, MES, or LES.
