We're looking for a skilled Senior QA Automation Tester to join an agile team supporting a major wealth management client. You'll design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications, as well as provide expertise on software quality within the team.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Work as an embedded QA Automation Engineer in an Agile team
2. Drive all aspects related to Software Quality within the team
3. Design test cases to ensure proper coverage of requirements and execute them
4. Identify and automate test cases using Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber (Java)
5. Manual testing as needed, including periods where it may be your primary task
6. Create or organize required Test data
7. Maintain regression test cases (add, remove, update)
8. Execute tests and document results in a manner suitable for audits
9. Write or read code in Java or C# when required
10. Manage defect reporting and resolution
11. Exposure to Playwright with TypeScript on UI or API level is a plus

🛠️ Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of Test Automation experience covering UI and API
2. Experience working in an Agile team (DevOps experience is a strong plus)
3. Strong skills in test case design (TCD) and risk-based testing
4. Experience in leading or supporting testing initiatives from development to acceptance testing
5. Experience conducting manual testing as needed
6. Ability to explore databases independently for test data
7. Good Jira knowledge (basic familiarity with XRAY is a plus)
8. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
9. Excellent command of English (C1/C2)
10. Fluent Spanish is a strong plus
11. ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus
12. Experience with cloud technologies, web application architecture, or banking domain knowledge (especially Client Lifecycle Management) is a strong plus

1. Availability to attend client offices in central Madrid 3 days per week is required
