We're looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and edge networking to help shape a secure and performant unified Edge platform for partner- and customer-facing traffic.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain a secure, performant Edge platform for all external traffic.
2. Instill software design best practices, scalable system architecture, and high-quality code standards.
3. Collaborate with Engineers, SREs, and other stakeholders to deliver robust, maintainable infrastructure solutions tailored to diverse internal users.
4. Support platform scalability, observability, and testing efforts to ensure production readiness and compliance.
5. Participate in roadmap and architecture discussions, contributing experience in backend systems and customer-facing constraints.
6. Foster cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within the team.

🛠️ Requirements

1. At least 5 years of experience as a backend software engineer designing and building production-grade services and systems.
2. Strong programming skills, preferably with JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin, and familiarity with backend frameworks and tooling (e.g., Spring).
3. Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures, REST/gRPC APIs).
4. Practical experience with cloud-native development and strong expertise in AWS.
5. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and familiarity with DevOps/SRE principles.
6. Commitment to code quality, automated testing, documentation, and observability.

1. Knowledge of Golang and Python.
2. Experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes workloads.
3. Familiarity with AI-related AWS services such as SageMaker or Bedrock.
4. Prior experience with AI/ML platforms or eagerness to learn in this area.
