We're looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with full-stack capabilities to help build and scale an agentic AI platform supporting hundreds of engineers and non-engineers.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Design and implement core workflows that enable AI agents to handle real engineering tasks end-to-end, such as context management, memory, and gated plans. Package these solutions for broad adoption across teams.
2. Develop self-service AI tooling, allowing teams to independently publish and use AI-driven capabilities.
3. Build integrations between AI agents and internal engineering tools, including issue trackers, code review platforms, and CI systems. Enable teams to create custom, AI-powered workflows.
4. Identify recurring engineering challenges and transform them into repeatable, AI-powered solutions other teams can leverage.
5. Establish and document best practices, guidelines, and responsible AI usage standards to scale the platform safely and predictably.
6. Track AI usage, measure impact, and derive insights to inform future development priorities.

🛠️ Requirements

1. Ownership mindset: Proactively identify gaps, develop solutions, and deliver results autonomously.
2. Strong coding fundamentals: Write clean, maintainable code; open to any language with ability to learn quickly. Experience with Go and TypeScript is helpful.
3. Platform intuition: Ability to recognize and automate repetitive processes for broader impact.
4. Developer tooling experience: Background in building or managing developer platforms, such as plugin registries, CI/CD, package distribution, or configuration management.
5. AI coding habit: Regular user of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot). No prior AI product experience required; curiosity and a learning mindset are key.
6. GitOps/DevOps experience: Familiar with GitOps/DevOps workflows. Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or AWS is a strong plus.
7. Excellent communication skills: Clear, effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
