Senior Network & Security Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Network & Security Engineer to design, administer, and maintain reliable network and security infrastructure supporting critical IT and operational technology environments.

🎯 Responsibilities

  1. Lead the design, deployment, and integration of enterprise and industrial network solutions, including firewalls, SASE, NAC, and switching.
  2. Ensure network reliability, performance, security, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
  3. Provide senior technical expertise across network and security architectures, including segmentation, routing and switching, wireless, firewalls, and secure remote access.
  4. Provide expert-level, L3 support for critical network incidents, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation.
  5. Advise clients on risk assessment, robust network architecture, and network evolution planning.
  6. Mentor and support junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
  7. Identify emerging technologies and methodologies that can strengthen service delivery and support the development of new network services.
  8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology partners to deliver high-quality, end-to-end network solutions.
  9. Develop the ability to independently manage projects, coordinate technical teams, and contribute to the growth of the Network & Security practice.

🛠️ Requirements

  1. Higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. At least 6 years of experience in similar roles.
  3. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco technologies.
  4. Strong organizational and task-prioritization skills.
  5. Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.

➕ Nice to have

  1. Relevant technical certifications, such as CCNP, PCNSE, or similar.
  2. Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  3. Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and validation requirements.
  4. Knowledge of German.
