We're looking for a skilled DBA System Engineer to join a collaborative Data Experience (GITOPS) team.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Bridge data infrastructure, architecture, and development teams
2. Select the best technology for persisting application data
3. Define operational procedures for databases, including creating automation and tools
4. Ensure appropriate data resources are allocated for optimal project development
5. Guarantee effective, efficient, consistent, and maintainable data solutions
6. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues to minimize production impact
7. Optimize and tune database access, identifying and resolving data bottlenecks
8. Support developers with database access, automation, security, and best practices

🛠️ Requirements

1. At least 5 years of experience working in critical database environments
2. DataOps mindset
3. Strong experience with PostgreSQL
4. Knowledge of other database technologies such as Oracle or MySQL is a plus
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Experience with cloud-based solutions; Google Cloud Platform is a plus
7. Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
8. Hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Python) and orchestrators (Kubernetes)
9. Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or other AI-powered coding assistants
10. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers, IT teams, architects, and stakeholders
11. A culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and team collaboration
12. Proficiency in technical English

1. Experience with applied AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT
2. Curiosity and willingness to experiment with AI-driven solutions in software development workflows
3. Ability to leverage AI tools for debugging, process streamlining, and productivity improvement
4. Enthusiasm for rapid learning and adaptation to emerging AI capabilities
5. Interest or experience in "pair programming" with AI tools
