We're looking for a talented Data Business Analyst to join a Data Visualization Competence Center, supporting the transition to a new data platform. In this role, you will analyze the current BI landscape, understand business requirements, and identify gaps between legacy and future data environments. Your expertise in Tableau and SQL will be used to read, interpret, troubleshoot, and eventually build or enhance Tableau reports, as well as to validate and explore data in support of analysis.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Analyze the existing business intelligence landscape and assess business needs
2. Identify gaps between current and future data/reporting environments
3. Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and build or enhance Tableau reports as needed
4. Use SQL to validate and analyze data during investigations
5. Create clear, structured documentation throughout all analysis
6. Communicate data/reporting-related changes and explain their business impact
7. Translate technical findings into clear, business-friendly insights
8. Engage with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather and relay information
9. Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
10. Adopt a proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach to problem solving

🛠️ Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline
2. 3+ years of experience in a data, BI, or business analyst role
3. Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and SQL
4. Proven ability to conduct gap analysis and map current vs. future state in data/reporting workflows
5. Skilled at producing clear, organized documentation
6. Ability to understand and explain data/reporting-related changes and their business impacts
7. Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities
8. Excellent communication skills for liaising with both technical and business teams
9. Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
10. Proactive and collaborative mindset with a focus on customer needs
