Orbio AI's job offers
Software Engineer – AI Product
Position Overview
Orbio is looking for a Senior Backend/Full-Stack Engineer (primarily backend) to help build our conversational, agentic AI platform, integrations and APIs. You'll architect and scale production-grade systems supporting hiring, onboarding, and employee experiences in real enterprise environments, working with LLMs and autonomous agents as part of the stack.
What You'll Do
- Build and scale production-grade backend systems
- Implement end-to-end features
- Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing innovation with reliability
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders
- Ship reliable software that performs at scale
Technical Skills
Backend
- Strong Python expertise: async programming, API development, real-time ASGI (Django/Channels)
- Testing, logging, monitoring, performance optimization
- Data storage (SQL and NoSQL) and async message queues (Celery + RabbitMQ / Redis)
- High-throughput, low-latency systems
- Production-grade application development
Full-Stack & DevOps
- JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)
- CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms
- Deploying and scaling systems in production
AI (working knowledge, willingness to go deeper)
- Basic understanding of LLMs: prompt engineering, RAG, function calling
- Familiarity with agentic patterns and orchestration
- Awareness of LLM cost, guardrails, and evaluation
- Exposure to conversational/voice AI (STT/TTS, telephony) a plus
What Success Looks Like at Orbio
- Core backend and agentic systems run reliably in production at enterprise scale
- AI workflows meaningfully reduce operational friction for customer teams
- The platform compounds: new deployments get faster and more robust over time
- Technical foundations support autonomy, observability, and safe decision-making
- Engineering velocity stays high without sacrificing reliability
Culture at Orbio
Orbio is a high-bar, high-intensity environment. We optimize for impact, speed, and ownership — not comfort.
We operate as one team, with a flat structure and extreme ownership. We ship fast, learn from production, and challenge each other directly because we care about building something that lasts. Titles matter less than outcomes. Customers come first. Momentum matters.
AI Governance Engineer
Orbio is an AI-native human capital management platform building a Digital Workforce for HR.
We design and deploy agentic systems that take ownership of operational execution across hiring, onboarding, and employee operations — while keeping humans in control.
We work with large, complex organizations across staffing, retail, hospitality, and healthcare. Our customers rely on Orbio to reduce operational friction, improve speed and quality, and scale their teams without proportional headcount growth.
Orbio is not a system of record. We sit on top of existing HR systems and own the execution and coordination layer — where day-to-day work actually happens.
Position Overview
Orbio is looking for an AI Governance & Compliance Engineer to help keep our AI systems compliant across EMEA, US, LATAM, and APAC.
In this role, you will sit between Legal, Engineering, and Security — tracking regulatory requirements across regions and translating them into concrete technical work, so our agentic systems stay compliant, auditable, and trustworthy as we scale.
You will build the compliance infrastructure — dashboards, documentation, risk assessments — that lets Orbio operate confidently in front of regulators and enterprise clients alike.
All the desired Technical Skills we are looking for
AI Regulation & Frameworks
- Strong working knowledge of the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and equivalent regional frameworks
- Turning Legal's interpretations into concrete technical requirements
- Monitoring the regulatory landscape across EMEA, US, LATAM, and APAC
- Flagging business/platform impact of new regulation early
Compliance Implementation & Engineering Guidance
- Advising Engineering on compliance features — monitoring, logging, audit trails, human oversight, risk classification
- Hands-on engineering background across architecture, code, data flows, and model behavior
- Judgment on when to escalate ambiguous cases to Legal
- Daily use of AI tools for research, drafting, and analysis
Dashboards, Documentation & Risk Assessment
- Designing and maintaining AI compliance dashboards and metrics tracking, including human-in-the-loop metrics
- Defining data sources, logic, and known limitations for compliance reporting
- Running AI risk/impact assessments aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 and EU AI Act classifications
- Maintaining AI system documentation and consulting Legal on risk-tier decisions
Data Privacy & Cross-Functional Bridging
- Owning technical compliance with GDPR and equivalent regimes (CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPL)
- Supporting data mapping, DPIA support, and privacy-by-design reviews
- Translating between Engineering/Product, external Legal counsel, and Security
- Acting as technical point of contact for enterprise clients on responsible AI — questionnaires, due diligence workshops, compliance reports
What Success Looks Like at Orbio
- AI systems remain compliant and audit-ready across all served regions
- Engineering ships compliance features (logging, oversight, risk classification) without slowing product velocity
- Compliance dashboards give Legal, Security, and leadership a clear, trustworthy view of AI risk
- Regulatory changes are flagged early enough to act on, not react to
- Enterprise clients gain confidence in Orbio's responsible AI posture through clear, well-prepared documentation

Forward Deployed Engineer - Spanish Market
About Orbio
Orbio is an AI-driven human capital management platform revolutionizing how companies manage the entire employee lifecycle — from hiring to operations.
We work with large, complex organizations across sectors (e.g., hospitality, retail, healthcare, staffing), helping HR and operations teams streamline recruitment, automate workflows, and improve outcomes at scale.
Our customers don’t buy Orbio for experimentation — they buy it to solve real operational pain: high-volume hiring, slow processes, overstretched teams, and inconsistent candidate and employee experiences.
The Role
- Act as the technical bridge between Orbio and our customers, ensuring AI systems deliver tangible outcomes from day one
- Work directly with customer teams to understand workflows and define what success looks like in production
- Configure and extend Orbio’s AI systems to drive faster time-to-value in real enterprise environments

- Contribute to Product Engineering by turning field insights into scalable improvements that benefit all customers
What You’ll Do
- Deploy, configure, and customize Orbio’s AI systems to unblock customer operations and accelerate outcomes
- Translate operational goals into technical workflows that improve speed, quality, or scalability
- Own the technical deployment lifecycle with a focus on reducing time from sale to value
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to deliver measurable customer impact, not just go-lives

- Core customer workflows are re-engineered with AI and show measurable ROI
- Orbio systems run reliably at scale and are trusted in day-to-day operations
- Technical solutions are repeatable and accelerate onboarding of new customers
- Product improves continuously based on structured feedback from real deployments
Ideal Profile
- Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to ship production-grade systems fast
- Experience working directly with customers (field engineering, consulting, or solutions roles)
- Comfort moving between high-level problem definition and hands-on debugging
- Experience with modern stacks (APIs, cloud, frontend/backend development) and AI systems in production (nice to have)
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Additional languages welcome.
- Extreme ownership and comfort operating in ambiguity
Culture at Orbio
Orbio is a high-bar, high-intensity environment for people who want to play a meaningful role and enjoy the process of building. We are not optimizing for comfort; we are optimizing for impact.
We operate as one team — not a collection of individuals — with extreme ownership. We believe a small, highly aligned and incentivized team beats a large one, every time. We work in symphony, not in silos, with a flat structure focused on value over titles, mission over ego, and customers over internal convenience. We ship fast, learn faster, keep a high bar, challenge directly because we care deeply.
