About us

STALICLA is a biotech company developing a first in class precision medicine platform to accelerate drug development for patients with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs), especially with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Discovery and Data Science (DDS) unit of STALICLA in Barcelona, Spain focuses on the identification of subgroups of patients and developing customized treatments based on genetic, phenotypic and clinical factors, integrating molecular, anatomical and medical data.

The STALICLA DDS office is located by the sea, overlooking the port of Barcelona and it has easy access to the public transportation. The DDS team consists of an enthusiastic group of young and international scientists and software developers. Perks at the office include free coffee, tea and fresh fruits. Work methodology

Through biomedical big data analysis, STALICLA DDS leverages on genetic, molecular and clinical data to bring tailored treatments to patients with NDDs. It brings cutting edge biomedical data analysis, clinical research and computer science together in high paced start-up environment, where a pragmatic, resourceful, well organized and effective approach is required with limited resources. The DDS team consists of hands-on, agile and decisive members with interdisciplinary backgrounds.

Looking for

The software engineer / full stack developer will work closely with the other members of the unit and contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of the data warehouses and web-based analysis platforms integrating computational pipelines that summarize and visualize biomedical and clinical data. S/he will participate in the development of various web-based projects and the deployment of these projects on the cloud accounting for enhanced reliability, scalability, and data security.
