We're looking for a talented Senior QA Analyst to help elevate quality for a live mobile game. In this role, you'll be part of a cross-functional feature team alongside developers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and external vendors. Your ownership, initiative, communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills will be vital as you drive testing strategies and quality improvements.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Design and maintain test strategies, regression plans, cross-feature plans, and detailed test cases—covering manual, non-functional, and potentially automated tests
2. Lead testing execution across multiple features simultaneously, ensuring delivery meets scope, time, and quality targets
3. Clearly communicate complex issues and solutions with the team
4. Proactively identify gaps in test coverage and drive continuous quality and efficiency improvements
5. Guide and mentor junior team members and/or external vendor teams on task estimation, coordination, and prioritization
6. Keep QA documentation accurate and accessible
7. Collaborate and share knowledge across other QA teams in the organization

🛠️ Requirements

1. Extensive experience in game studios, ideally within cross-functional feature teams
2. Strong initiative and proactive communicator, always seeking improved solutions
3. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; proactive in surfacing issues and ideas
4. Proven experience leading and coordinating external QA teams to effectively execute test strategies
5. Expert knowledge of QA methodologies and terminology, especially in mobile games
6. Deep understanding of test strategy optimization and risk-based testing
7. Experience participating in agile processes such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and estimations
8. Familiarity with test management and task tracking tools such as TestRail and Jira
9. Experience testing during pre-production and prototyping phases
10. Solid understanding of QA workflows in LiveOps environments
11. Comfortable collaborating with engineering, product, and UX/UI teams

➕ Nice to have

1. ISTQB/ISEB Foundation or equivalent QA certifications
2. Experience testing on iOS, Android, and Amazon mobile platforms
3. Experience with client/server interaction testing
4. Understanding of how software architecture impacts the required level of testing
5. Familiarity with technical environments: Xcode, Visual Studio, Android SDK, Unity, Unreal, or similar
6. Knowledge of source control systems (e.g., GIT or SVN)
7. Experience with network, performance, analytics, API test tooling, automation frameworks, or device farms
8. Unity experience in testing or automation
