Job Description
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the evolution of our infrastructure and help us build a robust, secure, and scalable cloud platform ready for international expansion.
What will you do?
As a DevOps Engineer in PropHero, you will design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our fast-scaling business. You’ll ensure systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for scalability, enabling developers and product teams to deliver quickly and confidently. Working closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, you’ll build infrastructure as code (IaC), develop automation pipelines, and continuously improve our AWS-based platform. You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical foundation of our services while driving best practices in reliability, observability, and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and improve Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) practices.
- Optimize and scale CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Manage containerized environments.
- Improve observability (monitoring, logging, alerting).
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security across environments.
- Collaborate closely with backend, data, and AI teams to enable reliable deployments.
- Drive DevOps culture and best practices across engineering teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering / SRE roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, etc.).
- Solid expertise in Terraform (or similar IaC tools).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
- Containerization experience with Docker and orchestration tools.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
- Automation-first mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
- Fluent Spanish and English (international distributed team).
