We're looking for a skilled Backend Engineer - Payments to join a team focused on managing and processing payment and card transactions through modern, high-volume systems that deliver seamless customer experiences.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Participate in discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software.
2. Manage individual project priorities and deliverables while collaborating within a knowledge-sharing team environment.
3. Stay current with technology trends.
4. Contribute new ideas during GSDD (Get Stuff Done Days).

🛠️ Requirements

1. Experience developing software with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin experience is a plus).
2. Strong understanding of microservice architecture.
3. Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
4. Experience working in a modern cloud environment, preferably AWS.
5. Proactive approach and strong focus on delivering results.
6. Consideration of security throughout development processes.
7. Motivation to write well-tested and well-documented code.
8. Ability to give and receive clear, timely feedback.
