We're looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a dynamic Database Platform Team within the Platform Engineering Domain.

🎯 Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement platform solutions to improve the reliability, security, and scalability of database platform infrastructure.
2. Provide technical leadership in cloud infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and security for operational data storage solutions.
3. Collaborate with Product Teams to ensure seamless database provisioning and operational efficiency.
4. Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
5. Contribute to the team's strategy, roadmap, and architectural decisions.
6. Lead and participate in incident management and troubleshooting to ensure stability and predictability.
7. Define, implement, and maintain observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing) to meet platform availability targets.

🛠️ Requirements

1. Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, particularly in AWS.
2. Expertise in operational data storage solutions such as PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, S3, or similar.
3. Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
4. Strong skills in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools).
5. Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar).
7. Familiarity with networking and security best practices in cloud environments.
8. Working knowledge of observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.

➕ Nice to have

1. Experience managing large-scale operational storage solutions in production systems.
2. In-depth knowledge of database internals, including performance tuning, high-availability architectures (replication/failover), backup and recovery strategies, and sharding/clustering.
