Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver data products that power a global partner ecosystem, using modern data platforms and custom technology to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.

🎯 Responsibilities

  1. Deeply understand backend systems and data models, identifying logic and transformations linking business processes to data representations.
  2. Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to turn ideas and reporting needs into clear technical requirements and data structures.
  3. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Python, DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
  4. Design, build, and maintain partner-facing data products such as APIs (real-time and batch), dashboards, webhooks, and file-based exports.
  5. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment of all partner-delivered data with underlying business context.
  6. Contribute to the architecture, testing, and observability of the data ecosystem, promoting best practices and automation.
  7. Take ownership from idea to delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  8. Support the evolution of a data mesh by helping domain teams design data products aligned with engineering and governance standards.

🛠️ Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Airflow, and Snowflake (or similar technologies).
  3. Deep understanding of data modeling and backend system data flows across products and business domains.
  4. Proven experience building data products for external consumption, such as APIs, dashboards, or partner-facing data feeds.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate abstract business needs into clear data solutions.
  6. Clear communicator with impact-oriented, business-driven technical decision-making.
  7. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly, and demonstrate ownership from concept to delivery.
  8. Familiarity with modern data practices: version control (Git), CI/CD, testing, and observability.
  9. Fluency in Spanish and English (Spanish for local teams, English for global teams).

➕ Nice to have

  1. Experience with real-time data platforms such as Tinybird or Clickhouse.
  2. Exposure to B2B, Marketing, or Partner Reporting domains.
  3. Experience with streaming or near-real-time data technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
