Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Senior PHP Developer to join the Payments squad, focused on building robust, scalable, and secure platforms for payments, reconciliation, and fiscal automation. This role is ideal for those who thrive in demanding environments where software quality, reliability, and adaptability are essential, and where technical challenges are part of the day-to-day work.

🎯 Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary squad focused on high concurrency, testability, best practices, and efficiency
  2. Design and develop robust and maintainable APIs for payment systems, reconciliation, and fiscal process automation
  3. Actively participate in architectural decisions to build scalable, resilient systems
  4. Implement high-concurrency workflows with strong focus on operational stability and traceability
  5. Integrate external services handling critical business logic
  6. Contribute to test coverage, code reviews, and controlled deployments via CI/CD pipelines
  7. Work with AWS services such as SQS, CloudWatch, and Lambdas to manage events, queues, and metrics
  8. Collaborate with technical teams using Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, SonarCloud), following a quality- and improvement-focused approach

🛠️ Requirements

  1. Experience designing and developing robust, maintainable APIs
  2. Background working with payment systems and/or fiscal automation processes
  3. Strong understanding of software quality, reliability, and best practices
  4. Experience with test coverage, code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline deployments
  5. Knowledge in integrating external services and handling high-concurrency workflows
  6. Hands-on experience with AWS services including SQS, CloudWatch, and Lambdas
  7. Comfortable using Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, SonarCloud)

  1. Experience working in payment systems or financial platforms
  2. Knowledge of event-driven architectures
