Job Description

Responsibilities:

Proactive Customer Experience:

  1. Build features that anticipate customer needs and remove friction before questions arise.
  2. Make critical information (e.g. flight details, trip changes, add-on excursions) clear, timely, and accessible across app, web, and communication channels.
  3. Design systems that reduce uncertainty and increase trust through smart automation and clear user experience.

Reactive & AI-Driven Automation:

  1. Help design and build AI-powered chatbots and voicebots to maximize self-service and reduce manual support.
  2. Automate inbound and outbound customer communication related to trip changes (flights, hotels, schedules).
  3. Apply AI pragmatically to classify, route, resolve, or fully automate customer interactions.

Product & Data-Oriented Engineering:

  1. Work closely with the whole team to refine problems before writing code.
  2. Use data to validate assumptions, measure impact, and continuously improve solutions.
  3. Actively participate in shaping product decisions, not just implementing tickets.

Requirements:

Strong problem-solving mindset — you enjoy ambiguous problems and figuring out the best path forward.

  1. Highly effective use of AI in daily work (coding, debugging, designing, analyzing, automating).
  2. Product-oriented thinking: you care about why you’re building something, not just how.
  3. Comfort working across multiple technologies and learning new ones as needed.
  4. Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, development, and integration best practices.
  5. Experience working with event-driven architectures (EDA) and message-based communication between services.
  6. Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.
  7. Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices using Git (GitHub Actions or similar).
  8. Strong emphasis on testing (unit, integration) and commitment to code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  9. Familiarity with observability practices — including logging, monitoring, and tracing — to ensure visibility and reliability across distributed services.
  10. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

We don’t expect you to know everything, but experience in some of the following is important:

  1. Backend: PHP and/or C# (or equivalent experience)
  2. Frontend: React, React Native
  3. APIs, integrations, and system design
  4. AI tools, LLMs, automation workflows
  5. Data-informed decision making
  6. Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs with attention to performance and reliability.
  7. Knowledge of testing practices (unit and integration) and a strong focus on code quality.
  8. Familiarity with observability principles, including logging, monitoring, and tracing in distributed systems.
